I agree. By definition, a survivor is someone who lives through the event. It could get complicated if one is "rescued" by another boat or ship and than that unit is sunk a day or three later and the original survivor is than lost. I think the note on UB-35 should say "no survivors". It is "jumping a war", but if the 6 men in the water who drowned are counted as survivors because they got off the boat, that in the many cases in WWII where planes sank boats and saw men in the water but the men were never picked up, these men should be listed as "survivors". Which is not realistic.
