Thanks Michael,

With all the name changes and duplicate names I am a little gun shy. I've been burned before. Glad to hear I got one right.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of WW1 details on the rest of the web, and instead it appears it's contained in one or two reference books, which are occasionaly mentioned in responses (Tennant being one of them?).

Hope I didn't offend. I wasn't sure if the summaries in the WW1 section were like that by design or because the info was just that much older and therefore harder to come by.

I joined the conning tower to find info on a WW2 freighter a family member perished on (mission acomplished) and find myself too interested in the various forums to leave (my sympathies:-).

Facinating stuff.
