Yes, U 79 is credited with sinking (or damaging -- I only have HMS Brisk as damaged) those three ships. However, Brisk and Lugano were mined.
I just ordered the microfilm roll with U 79's KTB on it. NARA has been fast lately, so I hope to have this within about 2 weeks.
