SM UB 30 - UB 41. Oil tanks

Hello

Can anyone tell me whether the oil tanks of these coastal class boats would have been inside or outside the pressure hull ?

I ask because my researches suggest these boats may have been rendered vulnerable by tell-tale oil leaks, following even light depth charge attacks.
