WWI u-boat sinking April 1917

Researching family history I have come across two references, in books by Ian Dear and Capt.A G Course, relating to the sinking of a U-boat by the Master of the 'Wandby', Capt. David Simpson, on 2nd April 1917. I would be grateful for any further information, or pointers where I might find out more, on this action.
