My info. came from Hocking 'Dictionary of Disasters at Sea'. He gives her tonnage as 1658 with dimensions (in feet) of 286.9 x 35.6 x 23.2. The same figure is given in Lloyds War Losses.
Hocking confirms the high loss of life - 740 troops and crew lost, with 55 survivors
