Hi again Bruce
I checked the allied subs in my files and did not find any reference to your account on 24.9.1915.
Could it have been a torpedo boat for example, confused with an U-Boat ? Is what you refer to an official report or just an eye-witness account ? Strange indeed.
Concerning point n°2 I totally agree with Michael ; there were not so many boats in the Med in 1915
