HMS ? Osmanieh 31 Dec 1917

Mates,

I wonder if you have anything on the sinking of this ship around 31st Dec 1917?

The papers I have show her as HMS Osmanieh but I am sure that is wrong as she appears to be a Transport bring soldiers of the RFC either to or from Egypt.

She appears lost some how off Egypt and the HMS Jackel appears to have picked up survivers.

An Australian Soldier by the name of James Morrison was awarded a MSM for the rescue of survivers.

Do you have anything on the sinking of this ship or details of where, when and such.
