HM Brigantine "Ready"

My great gradfather Capt William Moodie won the DSC for sinking a U boat by gunfire in thechannel.Sadly some of the information has gone, butwe still have the medal and there was at one time a shell casing with a citation inscribed.

We thought his ship was callecd "Ready" but there is no mention of her on the "Sunk" list.Can anyone assist?
