Hello MPC,
thank you for the tip with the "ë". I have it.
:-)
I have searched for the
Kapitänleutnant Ludwig Fischer from U-3.
But with low success.
He is in the School at Darmstadt 1896-1899.
By the sinking of U-3 at 17.Jan.1911 died 3 persons.
Ludwig Fischer, commander,
Leutnant Kalbe, offizier,
Obermatrose Rieper
rest of crew, about 22 persons, rescued.
U-3 is lifting 8 days after sinking.
for date of birth and more i will search a few
books.
best regards
Michael D.
