Great grandfather's uboat service

any info on a wilhelm johann luders would be appreciated. Family lore says he was a uboat captain in WW1. The only other info I have was that his uboat captured ships but did not sink any, and a family photo of him in his dress uniform, showing an insignia on his left sleeve consisting of a crown above a small banner above an anchor
