Hello Yves,Simon and all,
Lloyds lists the location of PORTO as 550 miles from the American coast.
Miramar lists it as 550 nm S of Halifax N.S.. My source for the data is a
book titled Tin-Pots & Pirate Ships by Michael L. Hadley & Roger Sarty
McGill-Queen's University Press. Unfortunately, it contains no ghost uboat
or sea serpent stories.
I'm looking forward to see PORTO added to the list. Yves, didn't you post
that it would be "easy" to add the ship to the list?
Respectfully,
Joe R
