Hello uboatnet,
now a search for more details about the loss of the Navy Trawler "Towhee".
Earlier she is a Hull trawler with sign H.987.
Built at Goole in 1908 with 199grt.
The little informations i have says "15.June.1917, lost on escort duty in the english channel" and another "probable on a mine", "Skipper Ellison RNR"
No exact position is given by my sources.
Has anyone more about?
best regards
