Hello Colin,

during the patrol in question, Marine-Ingenieur Richard Zimmermann was the chief engineer on board S.M. U 52. I cannot find an engineer named Hermann Holtken in my records. He is also not listed in the honorary rank list of the Imperial German Navy. Are you sure that Hermann Holtken served on U 52 in the First World War and not on U 52 in the Second World War?
