Hello
I am looking to trace the movements of U100 around the time of the sinking of the SS Adela on 27 December 1917 off Anglesey. According to an Irish website [eastwallforall.ie] she unsuccessfully attacked the Mail Steamer RMS Leinster which was sunk with great loss of life a year later by UB123.
Apparently U100 remained in the vicinity of Adela's sinking until the following day (which is an odd thing to do) when she encountered a destroyer.
If anyone has access to her KTB and can shed some light on where she was between the 26 and 29th December and any comments that the captain made would be useful regarding these encounters and any others over those days as well as when she finally departed the Irish Sea to return to Germany that would be useful.
Thanks
