UC74 and SS White Head

Greetings all. Doing some research on my wife's great grandfather. He was a Maltese fireman on SS White Head when the steamer was topedoed and sunk by UC74 on 15 October 1917 north of Suda Bay, Crete. Can anyone shed more light on the event please? I would really like to know the entry for that day in the sub's KTB. Unfortunately my wife's relative went down with the ship but I read that sub picked up some survivors from the steamer. A good picture of SS White Head would be much appreciated as well. Thanks and best wishes.
