<HTML>Hi MPC.

Barry here, (G4COI) - not to be confused with the famous cartoonist G3COI.
I wonder what this Ex Funkers QSL cards are like? could be quite a rareity!. CW (morse code) is my speciality but I have little doubt as to who would be master and student in such a two way communication. CW on U-Boat film footage is like listening to Mozart or Beethoven. I am sure the many Hams on this net will probably agree that they were top notch, they had to be.
Maybe if I can get around to it I could load up the radio equipment from the Grille, which by coincidence had some connection to U-Boat command Norway (Narvik I think). The Stability/Fidelity/Tone of this kit I am sure, would bring a nostalgic tear or two to some of the Old Boy\'s.
P.S. Again, many thanks for info. on North Sea Bundesmarine U-Boat sinking and Capt Carlsen (who is also a Ham).

Barry. </HTML>
