<HTML>I am researching events surronding the attack on the convoy OB288 23rd/24th February 1941. MS La Pampa attempted to ram a submarine and may have been successful - probably the Italian submarine MARCELLO. Does anyone have any reports of U-boats being attacked by merchant ships in this battle. I think there are a number of inaccuracies in the reports of who sank what. I can send a summary to anyone who is interested.
