Representative needed

<HTML>There is an opportunity for the U Boat service to honour their comrades at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance on Saturday November 10 2001.
The televised ceremony takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
At the last moment we have been let down by those who were due to attend which means there will be no one representing the U Boat Service at the poppy laying ceremony with representatives from the Royal Navy, Merchant Navy and Bletchley Park.
The ceremony follows a live action re-enactment of how Bletchley Park broke the U boat Enigma code.
A special commemorative postal cover has also been produced which we were hoping would help raise funds for Horst at the U Boat archive. The potential for this will obviously be diminished.
If you can help at this very late stage in getting an ex Uboat man, or someone with a valid connection, to this auspicious and possibly unique occasion it would be very much appreciated.
