<HTML>Hello Antonio . Do you agree with me that there are 17 vertical stanchions and at the 6th stanchion the upper most horizontal hand rail is higher than the span between the first 6 stanchions , this is very important . This will narrow the number of boats down that used the olympic ring emblem. Also before the last 2 drainage slots are important , either the next 2 holes heading towards the bow are either what is called 1/2 - 1/2 slots or 1/4-1/2 slots , the 3rd from last slot is a 1/2 slot but the most critical slot is the 4th from last , to me it looks like a 1/4 slot . Combine the rail , drainage slots with the olympic ring emblem and you will find your u-boat number . Let me know what you think . That cover in front of the bridge is not metal but canvas to cover over the Gema radar set , it is not some armor plate . I did find a picture of a u-boat that looked very similar to this boat right down to the covering of the radar set , but it turned out to be the u-509 , so we can rule that u number off of the list !!</HTML>
