What a great library precision work!
Regretably I have no the book "VOM ORIGINAL ZUM MODELL: UBOOTTYP IXC" you mentioned.
I agree; from the 6th stanchion onwards, the upper most horizontal handrail is clearly a bit higher than the others between in the first 6 stanchions.
I also agree with the 4th slot from last seems to be like a 1/4 slot.
So mixing the handrails, slots and Olympic Rings all together, the candidates are U534 and U546, aren´t they?. Great job.

BTW: I though the FuMo29 front radar antenna covers was on wood, as they seem
to be rigid.
