the sad thing i have found out with the u-853 and u-869 of the new jersey coast is that they are being looted just for the hell of it.!!! i can see if wreck is unknown,but the divers ,from what i have been told,are trying to take everything of that can be tourched off and sold .this comes from a few friends that are really into diving .i do appreciate that it puts the families at rest to know where a relative is...but after a wreck is determined.....just let it be!!!taking pictures won't hurt but some people just cant leave it as that!!!!
