<HTML>hum....even considered this bad example for american democracy a country has -according to the geneva convention and the haager landkriegsordnung - the right to try spies. so they mustnt be delivered to the country of origin for trying.
but i think erecting military tribunals for handling law matters ALLWAYS gets the proceedings in these tribunals uundemocratic airs. they definitely have a bitter taste of victors justice,diminishing the rights of the accused.
but i wonder why a strong democracy needs a situation where it takes away rights of an accused. if he is guilty he will get his punishment befor the usual courty anyway.
