UD 4 was a ex -Netherlands submarine 0 26. She too was a training boat
in the Kriegsmarine. She never done a patrol nor did she sink any ships. This boat took up early experiments with Albereich, the rubber anti-sonar coating, which was carried by the Germans using this boat to see if this coating would work..
There were a few problems with these boats, as all the UD's subs were mainly
built to the Netherlands navy specs, before taken over by the Kriegsmarine.
