Thank you very much for your response and willingness to talk to your contacts. My mother and I have no idea what camp my grandfather was held in, however, I did send a request to Horst Bredow, U-Boat Archive, a few days ago inquiring about any information his organization migh have in their records. I will post a response to this Forum in the event I receive additional information from Mr. Bredow.

I've also sent several letters a few days ago to various German government agencies and veterens associations to see if anyone else might have some information to help in our search. If so, I will post such information on this Forum as well.
