<HTML>Just a note for those interested in "The Boat"...

If you ever have the chance to watch this film on DVD.....DO IT!!!
The surround sound (if you have that) is wonderful especially with the "wasserbomb" and things falling all over the place as the boat shakes, rattles and rolls. It's like being there....although after watching it in surround sound, I'm glad I've never experienced anything like it.

Another great feature is that you can choose to have the dialogue in either German or English. Also, my favorite feature includes having Prochnow, Petersen and another watch the film with you and do a "director's commentary" as the film is running. They talk about certain scenes and how they were made or which actor is now famous and what he is doing. They also talk about the model boat built for the movie that actually sank shortly after one particular scene.

The DVD has many options you don't get with a video tape or on television.

Just some FYI stuff....
