<HTML>Hello to the U-boat community. I was wondering if anyone could assist me for a request. In an effort to honor the brave U-boat seemen, I am planning to get a tattoo on my arm. However, I want the message in german, and my german is not too good. The phrase in english is: "U-boat Seamen On Eternal Patrol". The german equivalent I believe is: "U-Boot Seemanner Auf Ewiger Patrouille". In place of "Seemanner", I have also come across the words "Seeleute" and "U-Bootleute". I'm not as confident on their exact meanings.
Is that correct from english to german? The phrase would encircle the laughing sawfish emblem and the sea.
Many thanks for any responses from anyone fluent in german.
