U-Boats in the Delaware River

When I was a teenager and hanging around the River area along the Neshaminy Creek some people would talk about German Submarines coming up the river and docking in the Neshaminy Creek.
Just recently I found out at this location was a Pro German Club (German Bund) that was there in the 20's 30's and some of the 40's.
Called the German Bund of Philadelphia. This location they called it Philadelphia Turngemeinde Country Club.(I have a picture of it from the 30's)
Very Important this location is only one mile from the Cryolite Factory Germany wanted information on.
Most if not all of the Factories in this area were owned by people of German nationality.
