Dear All,
While searching for a picture s/s Dan Beard found the site
[www.skylighters.org].
There it states that "On July 2, 1944, after landing British troops on one of the Normandy beaches, Empire Broadsword was struck off Arromanches almost simultaneously by two mines dropped by U-Boats"
Searched the Uboat.net for information but none found.
Does anybody know what uboat/uboats that laid the mines?
Best regards from Singapore.
