identify a uniform

I tried this once about a month ago with no luck, thought I\'d give it one more try.My Grandfather was in the german Navy from about 1907 until 1910. Rumor has it that he was in the U-boats or perhaps torpedo boats. I have a picture of him in uniform taken in Kiel in 1910 the picture is from the chest up. On his hat it say\'s Torpedo =Division.I.i I know this is a long shot but can anyone provide any information or does anyone know of where I go to find someone to identify what he did. grusse aus the Catskill Gebirge in New York</HTML>
