<HTML>Hi all.
I have a lot of information on merchant ships that were sunk in the war, including pictures of the sinkings where available. Te first year of the war is nearly complete (1939). Unfortunately it is 2 months behind schedule at the moment! I obtained an extensive collection of Diaries that were written in the war by some unknown person from an old junk shop a year ago and have since been sorting them out into some order. As the information I found was mostly concerned with U-boat/shipping losses I have since been rewritng them as they appear: ie, reports, sinkings, eye witness statements etc.
Although not a complete list their was a day by day diary that was written and I have Xreferenced each sinking to bring them up to date with todays known information. It is a big task but the first year is nearly complete, currently running at about 60 pages. I hope to in the future,cover the periods 1940-45 as separate books as their is sufficient information That I have for this.
