There seems that your info on U 402 is somewhat different to my info I
have here in my books by Kenneth Wynn..
Kenneth Wynn (The Author ) of U-boat Ops of the Second World War\"
Vol 1 & Vol 2, has spent many years researching a number of WWII
subject, especially in U-boats....
He has produced his two great works on the \"The Battle of Britain\" two
volumes & was co-authored \"Honour of Light Brigade\" He was born in
London, is a retired mechanical engineer & spents much of his whole life
on WWII research.
So maybe there does seem to be some incorrection by my info..?
