<HTML>Hello Forum Friends,
Last night I stumbled over an item up for auction at Ebay. Item #511572662, a gold ring with the enameled German Imperial battle flag on it. The seller, apparently
Polish, thinks it belonged to a German Uboat commander killed in a Russian air raid towards the end of the war.
So, my question, particularly to you guys with access to extensive personell libaries (MPC, KPP??), who could that be? I assume, one can limit the time window to 8/44 to 1/45 and the Uboat\'s temporary home base in the range from Stettin to Danzig.
Take a look. Go to Ebay\'s expanded search engine, type in the number, etc.
