U-505 as a war trophy?

I will surely check out that biography. I hope you know I didn\'t mean any offense by calling Captain Gallery an instigator :-)
He did incredible things and was the man that saved U-505 so that it could be displayed at the Chicago Museum. He has my respect for that. I don\'t know the man that well and I\'m assuming he did not save the U-505 as to have it on display as a war trophy.
