I read that article today,it was very interesting.I think that the U.Archive did
not mean to insult you in any way when it turned down the offer of the photos.
By the sound of it the photos must have been discovered in the war correspondents offices in the Brest Bunker.As with all other photos such as these
there would have been multiple copies printed from each negative,and therefore
the Archive in Cuxhaven probably have copies of the ones discovered recently in
an attic here in the UK.However I would like to see them if they were made available at any time.Are you by any chance Lawrence Paterson who is mentioned in the newspaper article?
