I am looking for more detailed information on the submarines under construction at the building yard Ateliers & Chantiers Augustin Normand, Le Havre, at the time of the German occupation during 1940-1944. In June 1940 there were five submarines (French subs La Bayadère, L’Artémis, L’Hermione, La Gorgone and an unnamed Polish sub) on the slips. It would be especially interesting to have more information on the building places of these boats on the slips of this yard. Maybe someone has aerial photographs of the yard taken by the RAF or can supply a good link. Have to confess that I have not searched French sites very much due to the language barrier. So maybe our French readers can give help here.
