Mad idea - living history

<HTML>All,
Here\'s an idea - probably off the wall but maybe not....
Living History. Here in the UK we have a number of museums which are \'living\' ie. the staff are dressed in costume applicable to the period and \'entertain\' visitors to the site with accurate tales of life as it was. Still with me?
U-534 at Birkenhead. My kid brother was taken in by the guide and came back regaling me with all sorts of strange tales - which, as a previous post showed - were not quite true.
Now, on my way to work this morning, I was thinking that a boat like 534 deserves better. There could be many of us here in the UK portion of the forum who could volunteer not only to assist the Warship Preservation Trust - who I know nothing about - to get the boat to an acceptable state for visiting but also to have someone with more knowledge showing visitors around. If it means dressing up and the like, so much the better - but the point would be to assist in the preservation of the boat. Which I believe the WPT are not quite up to doing...
Any ideas?
Aye,
