<HTML>Probably not what you wanted to hear, but you might have to research this yourself. Go thru the list of KC recipients on Gummi\'s list of commanders and check each one for date of death. There is also at least one book on the U-boat KC holders that would have the list already narrowed down for such a check (not sure of the precise title).
This might become somewhat problematic, as many if not most (or all?) were interned for as much as a year or more after the war in POW camps. Busch and Roell\'s German U-boat Commanders of WWII lists many dates of captivity as \"detained; freed (date)\". Assuming you would not consider them available to give autographs until freed from detainment (and I haven\'t the vaguest idea if any actually ever passed away while in captivity, for whatever reasons, but it is possible).
