Hello Volker
The link works fine for me and i assume Falmeida.
Can only thing it's maybe the browser your using?
When i ever i post the full link'it gets made into the little short cut for you to click on by whatever software this forum uses i suppose.
So what i have done is pasted the full link below minus the h in front of the http.
So if you copy the full link below and put a h at the front i hope it works for you.
If not i can email it to you no problem.
It's actually just a small picture of Kuppisch from a much lager picture.
All 4 officers'Topp'Korth'Endrass and Kuppisch are in dress whites and they all wear the RK'but Endrass has the EL to his RK.
Seems to be some sort of function and i can only assume in France.
I can scan and post the larger picture if you'd like.
I remember Kuppisch from Werners "Iron Coffins".
Werner was highly critical of the lax attitude of the milk cow crew in paying attention for enemy aircraft and put it down to them having an old RK winning Commander(Kuppisch) who had just put to sea again recently after a long gap and still had the attitude of the 39-41 where an attack from the sky as less likely and not so much of a threat.Obviously as we know 43 was a very different time and as Werner's U-Boat left the area they could hear Kuppisch's U-Boat being attacked and sunk with the loss of all hands.
Kind regards
Dave
