Thanks Rodney, that's a great help. However I was also hoping for some further detail about what actually happened on the day they were released. Were they collected from the camps by bus, were they marched to the nearest station, or left to find their own way to a Channel crossing port. Sorry to be pendantic but I want to portray the procedure on film so every little detail helps.
