Wynn states that the U-32 under OL Hans Jenisch took his boat through the north channel into the Irish Sea and laid eight mines off Liverpool on 7/3/40.One of these sunk the SS Counsellor next day.On the return U-32 was sighted several times by aircraft and attacked.
