The long list of books you give should prove very useful to many reading this forum, including myself.
However, can you recommend any titles that may cover in detail the surrender of German U-boats at the end of the war? My particular interest is the story of U-1009.
I don't speak very good German so perhaps I may be able to find someone to translate if a book in German text contains information about the last days of U-1109.
