Hi,

Go to the following link. It will give details of the battle and of the U-boats involved with commanders names and a list of ships and their tonnage sunk. It will NOT give you names of Merchant crews or DEMS gun crews. You will have to look elsewhere for that. Possibly the PRO in Kew or the CWGC in Maidenhead can help.

Also put maritime regiments into a search engine and see what comes up - quite a bit but I don't know if they will be of any use.

N.B. U-boats (German submarines) are prefixed with the letter 'U' U 43, U 81 etc they are Not just a number.
