Since the K-191 was retrieved by the Glomar explorer, at least two other Russian subs have sunk including the Kursk. After the story broke in 1977, the boys in the Kremlin must have really started wondering what to do. My question is: would they and/or other countries put explosive charges onboard to prevent them being raised by anyone else. By setting them so that they would go off as the sub was being raised, any enviromental damage would be attributed to whoever was raising the sub.
