There are plans to carry on with the restoration on the exposed upper hull (under the deck) and fit authentic timber decking. Unfortunatly costs and time constraints prevented this happening before the opening. The inside of the boat will be an ongoing task, but as you say she will never look like the 505.

Two Enigmas onboad a U-boot were not unusal. If there was three, then THAT would be a mystery!!
