Due to a computer glitch, Naval Historian Paul Lawton has asked that I post this message on his behalf:
Please GOOGLE these two items: Subsearesearch-Links-Project U-233 and Subsearesearch-Links-Operation CA-35.
The first link regards their alleged discovery to have been the wreck of the U-233 in Casco Bay, in the Gulf of Maine several hundred miles from where she was actually sunk, off Sable Island with many survivors rescued.
The next link regards their alleged discovery of a super secret Type XI-B U-boat, code named the "Black Knight," that was supposed to have been Hitler's escape boat. This was allegedly located in 40 feet of water off Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 1993.
This information is directly off Sub Sea's own website. Please draw your own conclusions about the veracity of this latest treasure wreck story.

PS. For the record, they show a photo of the SS Port Nicholson in their story which the U-87 sank along with the SS Cherokee in 1942 off Provincetown, Massachusetts. Both were in ballast. The U-87 sank 3 other ships, 2 tankers and 1 tramp near Cape Verde. None carried treasure and the small, short range Type VII-C could never have operated as far south without refueling from a milchcow, which she never did.
