In the last few months I have found a photo of UB98 which was at Porthmadog harbour in North Wales in 1922, I have also found that it was scrapped by a local scrap merchant, there was also another U boat srapped in 1947 - 1948 ? but no photos or details can be found about it, which includes my local archives dept.
The photo of the UB 98 was printed in my local newspaper the North wales daily Post this week and has generated a lot of interest.
Next tuesday I have been invited to be a guest on radio wales to discuss the photo of the UB 98.
Can anybody help me with any information that could be useful for me in the interview e.g. the specification for the boat, weight type of diesel engine etc.
Any information would be truly grateful regardless how triviual.
Many thanks in advance/
