U-1108 was scrapped by Thomas Ward, Briton Ferry, Glamorgam during 1949;
U-3017 was scrapped by J. Cashmore, Newport, |South Wales during 1949-50;
Could either boat be a candidate for your mystery U-boat in Porthmadog ?
