Hope anyone with an interest in u-864 will read my book CODE NAME CAESAR: The Secret Hunt for U-864 During World War Two (Berkley Publishing). I don't give a definitive answer about its raising, as the Norwegian government is still debating the issue. I do, however, answer all of what's answerable about the submarine's mission and destruction in the first nonsensational account of this historic episode. Hope to discuss it here.
