i had heard about heydrich...how may the world have been differnet if he had continued with his naval career? wonder if the more humane influence of a fellow like donitz would have rubbed off on him?
wasn't aware of the other fellow...but a fist fight over a girl seems like a small matter to send a man into combat over...maybe something less extreme like making him spend his leave time in wintery narvik might have sufficed as punishment?
but yes, different times, different morality to some extent...
